A pair of chopsticks that represents a Japanese symbol - the sakura cherry tree. These chopsticks are made from Yamazakura, a cherry tree species endemic to Japan. Using trees grown in Ishikawa prefecture, each pair has been carefuly handcrafted by skilled shokunin (craftsperson) to create a simple but elegant tool that will immediately connect with you at the dining table.

These chopsticks have a grainy appearance as opposed to the well defined lines in the matsu no ki pine chopsticks. If you appreciate the looks and feel of this light coloured natural wood in your hands, then the 'sakura no ki' chopsticks are for you.
